Easily our best game for the year with good attitude, good at bats and solid defensively. Nine hits, 3 walks and 8 strikeouts against a good pitcher was better than any previous game against teams above us on the ladder.
Well done to Bucks early - throwing hard on the hill and Thom showed some positive signs in relief. Dave did a great job behind the dish in hot and humid conditions. Everyone contributed either with the bat or in the field and our two supporters agreed. A good game to watch and a good game to be involved with but we have raised the bar now and must keep that attitude for the rest of the season. |
