PL1 are back on track after a solid return to form. EH challenged early taking a 3-1 lead after the 1st. The boys bounced back in the top of the 2nd scoring six with a wonderful display of power hitting. Ash struggled to find the zone in the bottom half keeping EH in the game 5-7. Instead of dropping their bundle the boys continued the onslaught started by Chris Wescombe and his massive 3 run bomb. The momentum continued with Ash regaining some good form shutting down EH. UWA running out winners 7-16. It was great to see the tail end break out with a total of 8 hits for the 7,8 & 9 hitters. Play of the day goes to S. Major for his amazing betting display, 0 for 0 with 4 HPB's |
