Congratulations to the ladies of B2 softball on a well deserved win. Only 2 games into the season and Mostyn and myself have seen a massive improvment.
Playing Beechboro was going to be a test of how well the girls were going and how hard the hangovers were after some over indulged on the pub crawl. Overall the batting was fantastic with everyone swinging aggressively in the box, and only 2 strike outs, running the bases like women possessed and making the plays when they counted.
Highlight of the game has to go again to Marta with a huge home run, and honourable mentions to Anna(the real one) having a great day on 1st and Lauren with a ball-tearing reflex catch at second that amazed not only Loz but the batter, the whole oposition and your humble(yet good looking and suprisingly well hung) writer.
We have a long way to go this season but already Mozzy and myself are seeing some solid improvment and some great signs for a great year. Good on you girls you really did earn this win. |
